Teen Programs

By the time kids hit high school, they are capable of adult-caliber achievements. Teenagers are at the peak of cognitive learning and extraordinarily competent. We know that high school students can be the best in the world if we meet this potential by pushing them to the challenge instead of treating them like children.

Prequel’s teen programs are all about building something many think high schoolers can’t do. What sets us apart is the scale of ambition and depth of work. We believe that building an ambitious project or business unlocks every growth skill and mindset: grit, resourcefulness, creative thinking, learning to fail, using tech and AI, and much more.

How we build remarkable kids at scale

Prequel is not like conventional education programs. We are a proven, transformative learning experience where every kid writes their success story, starting today.

01
Ambitious goals & limitless outcomes
Your kid’s real potential is being throttled by the limiting beliefs instilled by society, schools, and even loving parents. At Prequel, we help kids discover what’s possible by challenging them to aim for “world-class” instead of “good enough for my age.”

When kids walk out of Prequel, they’re not just prepared for the world but already steps ahead, setting new standards and redefining success.
02
Growth skills common core
There’s a common core for academics; why not for the life skills kids need to succeed?

Anyone can say your kid is learning grit, teamwork, and communication skills. At Prequel, we have real-world tests in place to prove a skill has been mastered, like beating Harvard Business School’s teamwork challenge in preteens or building a personal advisory board of industry leaders as a teen. In the academic world, kids are sheltered, with grades representing success.

At Prequel, the real world determines whether hands-on projects are a success.
03
Live-action learning
Prequel isn’t Zoom School or talking to an AI bot. It’s real-time, real-world learning.

Our live-action experiences are full of hype and energy - like attending a concert or sports game. It’s where students collaborate on complex problems, face dynamic scenarios, receive guidance and feedback, and interact with motivating guest instructors.
04
360 holistic programing
Kids don’t just need facts; they need to understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of applying that knowledge in real life and be motivated to take life-changing action.

Outside of live sessions, students join a community of like-minded peers, compete in progress-based competitions, participate in socials, and get weekly check-ins from coaches. It’s not uncommon for our student community to have 100k+ messages in a month.
05
Role-model coaches
We are the older siblings that have been there and done that.

The programming team has diverse experiences, from working at international non-profits and coaching Olympic athletes to founding businesses and leading startups. Your child will learn from people who broaden their horizons and show them how amazing their future possibilities are.

Stand Out in the real world, and for college

The type of young person that the world needs and elite colleges want is the same: Kids who spent time experimenting and exploring their passion and purpose, found what they love, and are working on something meaningful with large scale impact.

Cianna got into Cornell

BETA Camp has been the best summer program I have participated in thus far. Connecting with others who are all as interested as I am in this field was one of the best feelings, especially when able to challenge my limits alongside them

Kate got into STANFORD

At AlphaX, you learn how to combine your interests, what you're good at, and what you can give people to create something incredible and become the best in the world. This program helped me achieve what I never thought possible. It opened up hundreds of thousands of doors for me to experiment, try new things, and do things that no one could ever think a 17-year-old girl is capable of doing

Tehseen got the Morehead Cain Scholarship at UNC

BETA Camp has exceeded expectations! I not only got to actually build a startup, but I got to meet people working in my dream job and learn from their experiences, learn business concepts taught in school, and develop a network of like minded individuals who I will keep friends with for life.

Bianca got in to University of Chicago

BETA Camp has definitely changed my perception of my own goals, and it has made me realize that they are a lot closer than what I thought. That even as a teenager I am capable of starting something big that might change the world. At AlphaX, I am transforming personal development by building a personalized AI-powered journal that helps millions of people improve their habits and reach their goals faster.

Izaan is headed to Harvard

BETA Camp has been an amazing opportunity to enhance my business, tech, and entrepreneurial skills. I have met so many new people from diverse backgrounds, broadening my perspective on various topics and also expanding my professional network. I would 100% recommend this program to any student who is passionate about business and entrepreneurship and wants to hone their skills.

Yoobin is headed to Yale

BETA Camp pushed me out of my comfort zone in terms of creativity and adaptability. I’ve uncovered my liking for networking and collaborating with a team based on a shared goal or interest. I ultimately feel that the hard and soft skills I’ve obtained through this program will outlast anything I take away, and I am so glad to have a whole new pool of networks open to me because I’ve decided to give this program a try.
